The exterior masonry on the Knight Library, located on the University of Oregon campus, needed repairs. Western Waterproofing craftsmen addressed several items. Brick and corroded lintels were removed at window heads. New lintels were installed and the brick was replaced. Architectural stone at the top of the roof was removed, wall ties and stone were replaced.

A 6' x 10' section of brick in the corner of the building was removed, below the roof level. The brick was bulging and pulling away from the wall. Corroded brick ties were replaced and additional wall ties added. The brick was then reinstalled. To complete the project, about 30% of the building was repointed and 100% of the building was cleaned and sealed.
